Our Opening May Be Postponed, But We’re Brewing Up Something Great

Hey there, friends! I wanted to share a quick update about our journey here at MoonLyte Brewing Co. We know many of you have been eagerly waiting for our grand opening in Chisholm, Minnesota. While we had hoped to welcome you all sooner, our opening date has been postponed with a date to be determined. But don’t worry! We’re not sitting still. Instead, we’re busy crafting new beer recipes and planning some exciting things to make sure when we finally open, we hit the ground running with fantastic beers and a welcoming tap room.
Brewing New Flavors While We Wait
Delays can be frustrating, but they also give us a chance to focus on what we love most: brewing great beer. We’re experimenting with fresh recipes that we can’t wait to share with you. From hoppy IPAs to smooth stouts, we’re testing batches to find the perfect balance of flavors.
One of the beers we’re especially excited about is our upcoming Bock (yet to be named). It’s a smooth, easy-drinking brew. This beer will be a great fit for those who enjoy a classic Bock.
We also will continue to work on our seasonal brews.
It’s all about creating beers that feel like home.

Getting the Tap Room Ready for You
While the beers are brewing, we’re also putting a lot of love into designing our tap room. We want it to be a place where you feel comfortable hanging out with friends, enjoying a cold one, and making memories. We’re planning cozy seating, local art displays, and community events that bring everyone together.
We’re inspired by other great local breweries that have created spaces where people feel at home.
Why We’re Taking Our Time
You might wonder why the opening is delayed. The truth is, building a brewery and tap room takes a lot of moving parts. From equipment delivery to permits and construction, sometimes things don’t go as planned. We want to make sure everything is perfect before we open our doors.
Taking this extra time means we can focus on quality. We want every beer to taste just right and every detail in the tap room to feel just right. It’s about giving you the best experience possible from day one.
What You Can Look Forward To
When we finally open, you can expect:
A rotating selection of craft beers brewed on-site, including our signature Humuhumunukunukuapua'a IPA, A taste of the Islands and seasonal specials.
A cozy tap room with plenty of seating and a friendly atmosphere.
Community events like live music, beer tastings, and food trucks.
Opportunities to meet the brewers and learn about the brewing process.
We’re also excited to introduce some unique offerings like beer flights so you can sample a variety of our brews in one visit. It’s a great way to find your new favorite beer!
